When there are dissensions, and jealousies, and evil speakings among professors of religion, then there is great need of a revival. These things show that Christians have got far from God, and it is time to think earnestly of a revival.

The spirit of independence has separated too many people from community, and the enemy’s darts are raining down on them. It’s not really that complicated. If it’s raining and you don’t want to get wet, then jump under an umbrella.
Has it ever occurred to you that one hundred pianos all tuned to the same fork are automatically tuned to each other? They are of one accord by being tuned, not to each other, but to another standard to which each one must individually bow. So one hundred worshipers [meeting] together, each one looking away to Christ, are in heart nearer to each other than they could possibly be, were they to become ‘unity’ conscious and turn their eyes away from God to strive for closer fellowship.

If the church would only awaken to her responsibility of intercession, we could well evangelize the world in a short time. It is not God’s plan that the world be merely evangelized ultimately. It should be evangelized in every generation. There should be a constant gospel witness in every corner of the world so that no sinner need close his eyes in death without hearing the gospel, the good news of salvation through Christ.
Those who have been silenced will naturally seek out some other community where they can find a salve for their identity pain. In these instances, we have ceded our opportunity for gospel mission to the world, driving those who need King Jesus into other kingdoms that don’t give life and do not satisfy. The sad truth is that while these other communities will offer love, they cannot provide the healing the gospel does.
Let him who cannot be alone beware of community. He will only do harm to himself and to the community. … But the reverse is also true: Let him who is not in community beware of being alone.
We’ll never build unity around unity, but we can build it around Jesus.
Most of the goals of the modern Church can be accomplished without God. All we need is people, money, and a common objective. Determination can achieve great things. But success is not necessarily a sign that the goal was from God.

As a leader, I must resist using my team for personal gain, but rather position myself for their gain. Making room on the stage for their destinies to become a reality. It’s because the people on my team are called to influence spheres I will never have access too. As leaders, if we don’t think bigger than our personal destinies, nobody will last in our environments. Brilliance is birthed in an atmosphere where leaders become the biggest encouragers in the room, not just the biggest personalities, voices, and opinions.
