It’s much better to tell the truth than to compromise the truth and have someone believe a lie. If you truly love someone, you must be truthful—even if you know it means rejection.

Nothing in this world will ever change as long as the people of God remain silent and intimidated. As Christians we have a voice that needs to be seen and heard in the earth today. Everyone else is using theirs, so let’s use ours. Let our voice be seen and heard and stand up for what is right, moral, holy & godly. A voice of love, joy, peace and hope, not a voice of hate, chaos and destruction but a voice with Holy Spirit power & authority. A voice that is as bold as a lion. Speak up and speak out and live right.
No person should trust their feelings above what they know is right or wrong, and they should never be chosen over what the word of God says or what the character and nature of God reveal. However, neither should we deny or suppress our feelings. Our feelings are one of our God-given receptors that can reveal His voice and heart.
No tabloid will ever print the startling news that the mummified body of Jesus of Nazareth has been discovered in old Jerusalem. Christians have no carefully embalmed body enclosed in a glass case to worship. Thank God, we have an empty tomb. The glorious fact that the empty tomb proclaims to us is that life for us does not stop when death comes. Death is not a wall, but a door.
While extremely sensitive as to the slightest approach to slander, you must also guard against an extreme into which some people fall who, in their desire to speak evil of no one, actually uphold and speak well of vice. If you have to do with one who is unquestionably a slanderer, do not excuse him by calling him frank and free-spoken; do not call one who is notoriously vain, liberal and elegant; do not call dangerous levities mere simplicity; do not screen disobedience under the name of zeal; or arrogance, of frankness; or evil intimacy, of friendship. No, my friends, we must never, in our wish to shun slander, foster or flatter vice in others: but we must call evil evil, and sin sin, and so doing we shall serve God’s glory.
