We didn’t get into the Kingdom on the basis of our own works, you got in though His. The challenge is once WE get into the Kingdom, we want everyone else to get in through theirs.
Grace
Dan McCollam
Grace is the divine enablement of God upon your life that can show you what Jesus would do in your situation. Sometimes people teach a lazy grace, like: “It’s all been done for us, so we don’t have to do anything!” Does that sound boring to anyone else?! Grace is the very energy and fire of God that enables you. Grace gives you the power to work harder than anyone else, and not fry out!

You win over people just like you win over a dog. You see a dog passing down the street with an old bone in his mouth. You don’t grab the bone from him and tell him it’s not good for him. He’ll growl at you. It’s the only thing he has. But you throw a big fat lamb chop in front of him, and he’s going to drop that bone and pick up the lamb chop, his tail wagging to beat the band. And you’ve got a friend. Instead of going around grabbing bones from people… I’m going to throw them some lamb chops. Something with real meat and life in it. I’m going to tell them about new beginnings.

Cancel culture – “We will bring up every thing you’ve ever done wrong and attempt to ruin your past, present, and future with it. We call this morality, love, and compassion.”
Kingdom of God – “His blood has washed away every thing you’ve ever done wrong and erases your past, establishes your present, and brings hopeful security to your future. We call this the Gospel” One is not like the other.
Max Lucado
God’s book is written for failures. It is full of folks who were foul-ups and flops but got a second chance. Perfect people? No. Perfect messes? You bet. Yet God used them all. A surprising and welcome discovery of the Bible is this: God uses failures.
Kris Vallotton
Grace is not just undeserved favor; it is also the operational power of God, and it is the grace of God that gives us supernatural abilities in Christ. The proportion of our faith determines the level or amount of grace we receive and hence the strength of our gifts.
David Sliker
Jesus imparts, through the way that He loves us, the ability to love others deeply and freely. The love of Jesus makes it possible to truly care for, fight for, and serve our friends without worry or fear that they will not love us back. The love of Jesus frees us from the need to fight for ourselves, to protect ourselves, or take the weaknesses and deficiencies of those we love personally. His love is what makes true friendships endure the difficult seasons of life.
John C. Maxwell
People change when they hurt enough they have to change, they learn enough they want to change, or they receive enough they are able to change.
