When thinking about life, remember this: No amount of guilt can solve the past, and no amount of anxiety will change the future.

My basic principle is that you don’t make decisions because they are easy; you don’t make them because they are cheap; you don’t make them because they’re popular; you make them because they’re right.
I’ve had to make some horrendously difficult decisions, and the reasoning behind those decisions was difficult for me to verbalize to others. I admit I did not act upon those decisions in the most perfect fashion—far from it. However, these were decisions I felt led to follow through upon as the Lord convicted me of being overcommitted out of fear of missing out. He also called me to step into a couple of projects that I did not find enjoyable but where my skill set would be helpful to others. Decisions must never be made from a place of what feels good.
