A different world cannot be built by indifferent people.
Unfaithfulness in the key relationships of life is a common failure for many people in contemporary society. This lack leads to so much misery. We who trust Christ must not allow the world to squeeze us into its mold. What wonderful blessings flow from faithfulness in keeping our vows. Examine your life. Is it characterized by faithfulness? God is faithful. He keeps his promises to us. Keep your promises to God and to those with whom you have entered into covenant.
We are not "born again" into soft and protected nurseries, but in the open country where we suck strength from the very terror of the tempest. "We must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
One who faces his own failures is steadily advancing on the pilgrim's way.
Christian worship is alive because, in its essence, it is a conversation between two living realities-the one true, eternal God and the body of Christ, the church. Because worship is a conversation and not a mere review of the past, it is dynamic, unpredictable, and open-ended. Who knows what might transpire on any given day when a group of believers hears and responds to the Word of God!
God loves beauty and creativity. He has made for us a world that is visually spectacular. When we read in Genesis that we are made in God’s image, the only thing we know about him is that he is an artist, a Creator! Similarly, the first man in the Bible to be described as being filled with the Holy Spirit is not some great king or prophet. It is a craftsman called Bezalel, anointed by God to decorate the prayer room—the tabernacle (Exod. 35:30–33).
