We should be done with the days of believing that God’s power is evidenced primarily by the absence of struggle in our lives. If we live any amount of time in this fallen and frustrating world, we are going to find ourselves stepping onto the soil of some intense battlefields. We will face some dauntingly large enemies who are bent on our destruction. If we hold them up next to our own strength, we will be scared right out of our shoes. But if we compare them to our powerful God, we will realize that these conflicts are a gift because small enemies equal small victories and huge enemies equal huge wins.
