Rejoicing is an outward manifestation of an inward presence of joy. Pain is inevitable, but misery is always a choice. You chose your place of engagement with the Father. We have permission to count everything as joy. That doesn’t mean we are always going to be laughing out loud like a demented, spirit-filled hyena! But there is always a place where joy just bubbles up on the inside of us.
