He is our Redeemer, Deliverer, Reconciler, Mediator, Intercessor, Advocate, Attorney, Solicitor, our Hope, Comfort, Shield, Protection, Defender, Strength, Health, Satisfaction and Salvation. His blood, his death, all that he ever did, is ours. And Christ himself, with all that he is or can do, is ours… And God (as great as he is) is mine, with all that he has, through Christ and his purchasing.
Christ is the Good Physician. There is no disease He cannot heal; no sin He cannot remove; no trouble He cannot help. He is the Balm of Gilead, the Great Physician who has never yet failed to heal all the spiritual maladies of every soul that has come unto Him in faith and prayer.
They say it is best not to move around when you know you are lost, set up a signal fire and wait. And so the light of Jesus – His flame – fires up within us, beckoning Himself to us. Now, how is that for amazing? Be still, call out to Him and anticipate His rescue.
