I pledge my allegiance to the Kingdom of God. I break all other agreements or vows to any other. I’m in this world but not of it. I’m an ambassador of Christ. I will follow Christ and His commandments. I will eat from His table and no other. Faith, hope, and love will be my anchor. Every precept in the Book of life will I follow. I will pursue justice for the weak. I will strive to live holy and pure. The Holy Spirit is my guide, my friend, my comforter. I will follow the truth. Then will mercy and goodness follow me, I receive the light. I will carry the light. The light will keep my eyes single. This is my daily bread. This is my vow! I receive a kingdom that cannot be shaken. I stand in covenant to Jesus Christ: My Lord, my savior, and my deliverer. I receive His precious blood. I take my vow as a vow unto God. I cast out fear or anything that exalts itself above God’s Word. With this, nothing will separate me from my creator, the true living God. He is above every throne. I will bow only to Yahweh. I pledge to His banner. His banner over me is love. And to Him, I pledge my allegiance.

I choose you. This is a foundation of true lasting relationships. It is the foundation for God’s relationship with you. As Jesus declared to His disciples, you did not choose me but I chose you. Jesus chose you in the most difficult of circumstances. He chose you while you were in sin. While you were His enemy. His side of the relationship with you does not depend on your choice, but entirely upon His choice. The question is whether or not you will learn to build your relationships with Him and others, upon the foundation of your choice.

It takes a huge commitment to stay focused these days. There are so many moving parts that need our attention and an ever-changing landscape that must be navigated. I’ve never had to work harder to keep the main thing the main thing. We need the wisdom and guidance of Holy Spirit.

The Irregular’s Creed
I am an Irregular. I have no interest in normal, average, balanced living. I was both conceived and have been sent from another world. My orders are clear and non-negotiable – hear and obey at any cost. By mercy and grace, I have been set ablaze, rescued in perfect love, and established in family. I burn to do the will of my Father and to finish it. I am content to run with a handful of like-minded radicals with devoted hearts and a company with crucified ambitions. Silence, solitude, devotion, and concentration are the means by which my soul finds satisfaction. No longer yearning for the credit, the fame, or the fortune. I exist to see the Fulfillment of one great cause – on Earth as it is in Heaven.
