When the Holy Spirit blew through the Upper Room windows, there was a reversed Babel-effect. The hand of the Lord was no longer scattering and dividing men whose hearts were set against Him, but instead, gathering them for a new unified purpose. Where language once brought confusion and sounded of nonsense, it had now become a mighty tool to point men and women back to their Creator.

There are gifts that cannot manifest unless we’re in community.

There is nothing to be valued more highly than to have people praying for us; God links up his power in answer to their prayers.
David Platt
Being a member of a church means so much more than standing next to someone else and singing some songs once a week. Being a member of a church means realizing that we are responsible for helping the brothers and sisters around us to grow as disciples of Jesus.

If sheep do not have the constant care of a shepherd, they will go the wrong way, unaware of the dangers at hand. They have been known to nibble themselves right off the side of a mountain….. And so, because sheep are sheep, they need shepherds to care for them. The welfare of sheep depends solely upon the care they get from their shepherd. Therefore, the better the shepherd, the healthier the sheep.
Richard Woodsome
It does not take a perfect church to introduce a man to the perfect Christ.
Kenneth Reid
We think we’re the only ones wrestling with doubt. But the truth is we’re not alone. We have doubt, just like everyone else; we act like we have more faith than we really do, just like everyone else; and we refuse to be honest about it for fear of being judged, just like everyone else. But people don’t need you to be strong. What people really need is for you to have the courage to be vulnerable about your struggles.
Leslie Allen
God’s work is never a one-man show. The one who represents the visible part of the iceberg must ever acknowledge his or her debt to others.

Everything God builds, he builds on a RELATIONAL foundation.
Marc Brisebois
The enemy knows how easy prey is when walking alone. Rather, when we move as a singular unit there is a collective power to not only intimidate the enemy but to provide us a refuge. Of course, we already know this, yet we often lose sight of it.
